Lead Infant Teacher Needed:  This Full time position needing to be filled right away will be working with children 2 weeks to 12 months. Must be 18 years or older with minimum of a CDA (infant/toddler). Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Education (or active pursuit of degree) is preferred. Experience is a must! Substitute Teachers Needed:
Lead and Assistant Substitute Teachers are needed at all locations.   If you have a minimum of 6 months experience working in licensed care child facility and are interested in the flexibility of working as a substitute teacher when needed, this is the job for you! Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent. TDC Qualifications for Lead Teachers: Can be qualified in one of the following ways:

Bachelors' degree in Early Childhood Education, or a four-year degree in a related area of study with a minimum of 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.  (Registered Nurses with experience and/or certification in Pediatric Nursing or Maternal and Child Health may be considered for infants units.)

Related Bachelors' degree and a CDA credential, plus at least six months teaching experience.

bullet

Associates' degree in Early Childhood Education, and teaching experience.

bullet

CDA credential and two (2) years teaching experience.

 

Master Teacher Qualifications - Works as a Lead Teacher and mentors an adult learner(s) in the classroom

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a four-year degree in a related area of study with a minimum of 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.

bullet

Two years experience working as a Lead Teacher, post bachelors' degree; or current teacher certification, by the Kansas State Dept. of Education, in Early Childhood Education; and/or an advanced degree in Early Childhood Education.

bullet

Education or training and demonstrated experience as an adult educator.

 

Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent.  Preference given to candidates with previous experience working with young children in a formal child care setting.
